New Business Checklist

• Some of you will have some or all of these tasks completed already, but if not, here is a checklist to tick off as you complete.
• This can also be helpful as just a health check if you think you’re all set up - should only take a minute to tick all the boxes and move forward
• There are some additional helpful guides within your resource library for specific tasks such as naming your business and setting up a google business profile

• [ ] choose a name for your business
• [ ] create a Google my business profile
• [ ] create an Instagram account in that name
• [ ] create a Pinterest account in that name
• [ ] design in Canva (or outsource to Fiverr) a logo for your business
• [ ] estimate and set aside a start up fund/budget
• [ ] save all your user names and passwords somewhere safe.
• [ ] research some competitors (10 minutes, for inspo) we will do this in detail soon
• [ ] register your business name
• [ ] register for an ABN
• [ ] get legal documents Foundd Legal
• [ ] Open a business bank account or use an existing unused one (rename it)
• [ ] open a Stripe & PayPal account
